I came across this image while doing some computer housekeeping and thought I would share it with you. This and another encasutic piece, Rebound, were irreparably damaged during transportation following an exhibition. So, this is the only image I have of this piece. For those of you unfamiliar with my work, I use to do research intensive work dealing with dna, genomic sequencing, gene mapping and genetic manipulation-something I am still enamored with enough to want to return to the subject. The ideas are brewing and we’ll see what comes down the road. Below is an installation shot of Rebound-a good lesson in documentation-I wish I would have taken a close up! To the left is Of Mice and Men and to the right one of my woodcuts, One of a Million.
